Apocalytical
Wow. Amazing thunderstorms. At one point we were surrounded by three of them and the sky was flashing every 30 seconds. One, straight overhead, knocked out our phones, broadband, and the booster box in the loft. The cats all ran for cover, dauhter and I jumped out of our skins, and Jack, who was feeding at the time, came off the breast, his bottom lip quivered, and he screamed the place down. All this was accompanied by torrential rain, biblical proportions, which has caused the roof light in our lobby to start leaking, we now have a saucepan sitting in the middle of the floor and hubby has a job for the weekend. For a while the air got much fresher, it's starting to get clammy again now, if we have a repeat performance tonight I shall get the camera out and try to photograph the lightening. As long as it doesn't knock out the telly during BB I shall quite enjoy it.

(4.8.04 07:03) It was lovely. I love thunder storms - It's such a shame they didn't come when it was night time. My dog Pat loves them as well - He was on the windowsill watching it all - He doesn't like the raining bit though! /I'm giving you two sweeties babe because I think they are stupid and I want to get rid of all mine. More for you to carry. )

(4.8.04 09:41) I was a biggen here too, quite spectacular and saved me a job watering the gardem. Him Indoors was still complaining this morning about how it took him to come back from London though, only 5 trains out of Waterloo, none of them going our way, he retreated to the tube only to be faced with signal failure. Means the cat came and sat with me for a change... it was one soggy moggy. |

(4.8.04 09:45) Forgot, our surgery operate a system where you have appointments part of the day and the rest is open surgery "first come first serve". Hope they get your medication adjusted quickly. There is no sense in going about feeling under par when it can be easily solved with a couple of tests a twick in the prescription. |

(4.8.04 19:01) Mark - I love them too - but not at night 'cos they seem more evil. Thankyou for my sweeties. Stroppy - Am hoping to get it sorted Thursday. I am going to fib and say it's urgent. Reptar - It was amazing, nature at her best. Matilda - No. I will go tomorrow. |
